On Future Days, Can fully explored the ambient direction they had introduced into their sound on the previous year's Ege Bamyasi, and in the process created a landmark in European electronic enbulandiapresyz.arcabrolacongtepiramortcuvespwall.co Ege Bamyasi had played fast and loose with elements of rock song structure, Future Days dispensed with these elements altogether, creating hazy, expansive 10/

'Future Days' is a great Can-album and a great reissue, sounding like summer-in-space - neon clusters, imploding star-systems and no hayfever. Anyone wondering where Bowie was coming from in his Berlin-years should be directed here, and /5().

On Future Days, legendary German rock outfit came and conquered once more with a hypnotic and entrancing album that masterfully fuses ambient and rock elements. I enjoyed the two behemoth tracks that open and close the record, they are excellent examples on retaining momentum and keeping the listeners attention at the same time.

Future Days: enriching summers for 40 years and counting. And guaranteed to sound just as lovely as the leaves change, and fall, and come back again. One of my favorite pieces of recorded sound: of "Bel Air". Helicopters and dragonfly wings. For the sake of future days. A+.

Future Days is one song and a set of three structured jams. The one song here, "Moonshake", is a delightful take on psychedelic surf but while being one of Can's shortest songs, it is admittedly the worst track here. The best song proceeds "Moonshake" in the form of "Bel Air", a 20 minute sprawl of exhilarating bliss.

Nov 28,  · ’s Future Days is the last album of their famed trifecta and Suzuki’s last in the band. It’s also where they reach their peak. Whereas the two preceding albums were built around tense and incessant rhythms as on Bamyasi or inspired freak-outs as on Mago, Future Days takes a left turn into the sublimely spaced-out.
